Festival of Speed.net is a not-for-profit website dedicated to you, the motorsport enthusiast. We aim to provide photographic coverage of the events we are able to attend both in the United States and the United Kingdom. All images are copyright, FleMo Photography and may not be used without permission.
If you are the owner of any of the cars depicted in the images or are an executive member of any of the teams depicted, the images can be made available for your royalty-free use, provided any display of said photographs gives due credit to FleMo photography. Please e-mail licensing@festivalofspeed.net for information on this topic. Please note in your e-mail the image name in order to expedite the process.
Print copies of the photographs depicted on this website can be made available directly to the owners of the cars depicted. We only ask for a nominal fee to cover printing and mounting costs.
If you have an event in your area which you believe may be of interest to our readership, please drop an e-mail to events@festivalofspeed.net with the details. If you can aid in getting “Press” or “Photographer” status at the event, please indicate this in your e-mail.

Principals:
Mr. J. Morrison: A native of Southern California, earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Psychology from the University of Santa Clara in 1997. Concurrent to his University curriculum, he also attended the South Bay Regional Public Safety Training Center and has subsequently worked in a Reserve capacity for several different agencies. Despite his passion for law enforcement, Mr. Morrison currently works in the Aerospace field in an attempt to both keep a roof over his head and fund his unbridled addiction for English sports cars. As the owner of two Lotus Esprits and a Noble M400, all chronicled on this website, he is confident at least one will be running at all times!
Photography, though not Mr. Morrison’s profession, is his avocation. He has attended every Festival Of Speed at Goodwood House since 2000, digitally photographing the event since 2003. In addition to the Festival of Speed Mr. Morrison also attends local automotive events, capturing them for use on FestivalofSpeed.net. Additionally, his work has been recently published in the definitive book on the Lotus Esprit, written by William Taylor and published by Coterie Press Limited.
Mr. Morrison generally shoots with either a Canon 1D MKII or 1DS MKII coupled with an “L” lens, though he has worked with 35mm and medium format equipment in a limited capacity. Mr O. Fletcher: Blames Mr Morrison for introducing him to Mr Morrison’s Canon EOS D30 one fine sunny day and thus sending him firmly down the digital SLR road. :o)
When not bringing law order and sanity to his patch of the world he enjoys escaping from the madding crowds and snapping shots of pretty much anything that doesn’t mind being photographed, can’t see the shot being taken, or has no chance of catching up.
Unwitting master of the one sentence "anti" chat-up line, a proud owner of two coffee machines and several bags of coffee; sleep is a commodity that Mr Fletcher often finds in short supply.
Having recently made his break from from the rain and bad TV in the UK he headed for Southern California armed armed with nothing more than a passport (his own one too), a towel, two beer pumps, a laptop and a camera bag that for some reason customs took a lot of interest in.
After three weeks and a brief stint of driving on the left side of the road his British accent was still causing confusion amongst restaurant staff and residents (ordering at Coco’s was never the same again); an extra two week stay was required in order to further train the locals in British colloquialisms.

Mr C Cargo: You can blame me for introducing Mr. Morrison to the digital SLR in the first place. I am the professional photographer (though I prefer the term “photo-guy”).
I’ve been shooting photos for as long as I can remember; probably longer than that. Film, chrome, CMOS, CCD, or egg white based paint on emulsion, I’m game.
Mr. Morrison can, however, be blamed for firmly planting the passion for cars within me.
So if you see Mr. Morrison flying through some canyon in a silver Lotus Sport 350, hamming it up for some lunatic hanging by one arm shooting pictures out the back of a Tahoe, that lunatic would be me.
Mr F. Filipponio: Originally from the suburbs of Chicago, Frank earned a Bachelor’s Degree in Public Relations from Bradley University in Peoria, Illinois before moving to California in 1992.
After years of attending, photographing and writing about automotive events around the Southland, he finally decided to make a career of it. Besides being a contibutor to Festival Of Speed,

Mr. A. Caruana: An inhabitant of a Caterham, UK (yes home of Caterham Cars) with a Bachelor of Science Honours degree in Engineering and Business Management from the University of Greenwich. A qualified Mechanical Engineer by trade with almost eighteen years experience in the design and manufacture of high performance bespoke equipment for aerospace and defense applications. Currently pursuing Chartered Engineer status with the Institute of Mechanical Engineers in the UK, he was also heavily involved with the SAE (Society of Automotive Engineers) in the USA during a four year secondment attending many working groups.
Engineering is not always about theory though and Anthony likes nothing better than getting his hands dirty in his spare time restoring and modifying classic automobiles. His real automotive passion is anything of German origin, in particular air cooled Porsches. Anthony was also introduced to the FoS activities by Mr Morrison, whose overwhelming enthusiasm for all things automotive just seems to rub off on people.
Anthony will be covering predominantly the UK events, with particular emphasis on both current and emerging automotive and motor sport technologies and the transfer of technology between industry sectors.
Samantha Stevens: Freelance Australian/American journalist, motoring specialist, television presenter, rally driver and Car of the Year judge.
It all started with a trip to the farm at age 14 and the discovery of an old, abandoned 1984 Izuzu Gemini buried deep in the bush with a screwdriver still jammed in the ignition. Turn, start, hit the gas, realise there are no brakes: the start of handbrake turns and an addiction to cars and the sport of rallying.
Half a lifetime later, Samantha has what many petrolheads would consider the ultimate occupation: driving her own and manufacturers’ cars on the roads of the world and competing in various forms of motor sport. Samantha has teamed up with Mercedes-Benz, Mazda, and Mitsubishi Ralliart in tarmac rally, competing in every major tarmac rally in Australia as both a driver and a co-driver. In other forms of motorsport, she has raced cars kindly donated by Volkswagen, Renault, HSV, Ford and FPV, Chrysler, and more.Samantha has driven all Australian circuits and some overseas tracks (though she still needs to give Laguna Seca a real go), as well as instructing at race drive days. On the creative side, Samantha also has several safety videos and demonstrations to her credit. She is currently pursuing a personal project – an all-girl tarmac rally campaign in a classic/early modern Nissan Pulsar GTI-R hot-hatch.
As a journalist, Samantha has written for dozens of local and international magazines and websites, and is a respected World Car of the Year Judge and Automotive Design Award Judge.
